NEW MOVIE: The Nun (-R-)
Supernatural horror pic is a spinoff of The Conjuring 2. It tells the story of a novice nun (Taissa Farmiga) and a Catholic priest (Demian Bichir) who are dispatched to investigate the mysterious suicide of a nun at a monastery in Romania.
NEW MOVIE: Peppermint (-R-)
A female-led action pic starring Jennifer Garner as a once-happy suburban wife and mother whose life is upended when her husband and daughter are murdered by a powerful local drug cartel. A decade later she seeks revenge.
Jim Carrey tells Entertainment Tonight that Fox needs to reboot In Living Color with his former co-stars Jamie Foxx, the Wayans brothers and David Alan Grier. “That show really needs to happen! That show needs to exist. Especially now, man. There’s so much to eat up and spit out so I’d love to see it reconstitute itself in another form. I’d go back and uh hang out with ’em. Of course I would!”
HBO is bringing back Insecure and Ballers. Ballers is the network’s highest-rated comedy and features Dwayne Johnson. It is being renewed for a fifth season. Insecure is a comedy featuring Issa Rae and is coming back for a fourth season.

Two-time Oscar winner, Michael Cain will join Ben Foster in the filming of the historical action-drama, Midieval. The movie will chart the story of 14th century, national hero Zizka, a revered military tactician who defeated armies of the Teutonic Order and the Holy Roman Empire. The film will also focus on his relationship with a local heiress and his face-off against a rival king. Caine will play Lord Boresh who is the right hand of the Czech King Wenceslaus IV. Shooting will begin this fall in and around Prague.
Deadline.com claims the Beetlejuice musical will debut on Broadway in March 2019.
Season 4 of Narcos will start streaming on Netflix on November 16th.
In a recent interview with Variety, which you can check out below, Chris Pine was asked if he would be interested in returning at Captain James Kirk in a fourth Star Trek movie. While Pine’s wording was relatively vague, he hinted that he’s interested in the project in one way or another, despite previous reports talking about his issues with his pay.
