The Joker origin film starring Joaquin Phoenix is official! DC & Warner Bros have Todd Phillips (The Hangover franchise) directing from a script he wrote with 8 Mile scribe Scott Silver, with the movie is set to go in front of cameras this fall, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And that’s just the tip.. of the iceberg. DC has a LOT of plans for their extended, and unconnected, big screen universes.
The upcoming eighth season of American Horror Story will be its most ambitious yet, as it will see the events of the first season, titled “Murder House,” and the third season, titled “Coven,” crossing over for a highly-anticipated event. Creator Ryan Murphy shared the news on Twitter. “Murder House” depicted a family moving into a haunted mansion in Los Angeles, California which resulted in a series of horrifying and supernatural events unfolding. “Coven” focused on a girl moving to a boarding school so she could be around others who had powerful control over witchcraft. Season 8 debuts this fall.
According to a Reddit poll over 40% of Walking Dead fans plan to quit watching the show after actor Andrew Lincoln‘s exit. Lincoln has played lead character Rick Grimes since the start of the hit AMC show in 2010 but is being written off the show. The poll found that 44% (out of nearly 900 respondents) would not continue watching after Lincoln’s final scene.

After 27 Seasons, The Jerry Springer Show is coming to an end. The CW will air a mix of pre-produced original episodes as well as the current library. A show insider said the network is considering ordering more episodes down the line and encore episodes will continue to air in syndication. The current production crew has been laid off.
