Warner Bros and DC Entertainment have picked Cathy Yan to direct the untitled girl gang movie centering on Harley Quinn. Margot Robbie will star. Yan is the first female Asian director to helm a major superhero flick and the second woman, after Wonder Woman’s Patty Jenkins.
Uproxx claims Steven Spielberg is going to direct a DC Comics superhero movie titled Blackhawk. Blackhawk was the leader of an elite group of pilots, who fought in World War II.
7.8 million people watched the season finale of The Walking Dead on Sunday. That’s down 30% from last year’s season finale (11.3 million)
ABC’s American Idol had a new all-time low against CBS’ Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday. This was even including the Fox years for Idol. American Idol got 1.3 rating out of a 5 share in the 18-49 demographic and an average of 6.3 million views.
Who’s your late night TV preference? The audience for NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has fallen way behind CBS’ Late Show With Stephen Colbert, according to Nielsen stats. Colbert averaged 4.02 million viewers during 2018’s first quarter, versus Fallon’s 2.76 million and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, with 2.35 million. Just a year ago, Colbert was only ahead by 300,000 viewers.

John Cena made Nikki Bella sign a 75-age contract when she moved in with him back in 2013. The agreement said she would have to vacate his home with her things as soon as possible, upon their potential split. And one thing that made Nikki upset was…. the WWE star referred to her as a “guest” throughout the contract. Cena explained he had a good reason for the contract, and that was to protect his fortune so he could always provide for the people he loves.
