Two brothers who skipped school to attend opening day for Chicago Cubs ran into their principal at Wrigley Field.
The 6 and 9-year-old boys went with their parents to the game as a reward for getting straight A’s. The two were carrying a sign that read, “Skipping school. S-h-h-h, don’t tell Principal Versluis.”
Before the game started, the two ran into their principal who got his tickets from a group of friends he shares season tickets with.
The principal said that attending school is important but experiencing an opening day at Wrigley Field is also important.
