After a couple of short teasers and TV spots, Disney and Pixar have finally released a full length trailer for their highly anticipated sequel, Incredibles 2. Watch the new footage above.
USA Networks is revamping its roster of pilots with the pick-up of four dramas. They include: Treadstone (a prequel to the Matt Damon-starring Bourne franchise); crime-thriller Erase starring Denis Leary; mystery-thriller Briarpatch; and a high school cheerleading entry Dare Me from former HBO programming president Michael Lombardo and Tim Kring. They join USA Network’s current scripted roster, which includes Mr. Robot, The Sinner, Shooter, Falling Water, Queen of the South, Colony, Unsolved, The Purge, Suits and its untitled spinoff.
Charlize Theron is going to star in Atomic Blonde 2. The movie will follow her spy character into the 1990s.
Donnie Yen is joining Disney’s live-action Mulan, opposite Chinese actress Liu Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, who was cast as the titular female warrior after a worldwide search. Niki Caro is directing the feature, which is set for a March 27th, 2020 release.
Actor/comedian Kevin Hart is set to host the upcoming competition series TKO: Total Knock Out on CBS, and from executive producer Mark Burnett. The show features people from all walks of life where one player races through obstacles while four other contestants are manning battle stations along the course, firing projectiles in an attempt to knock them off and slow them down. The top two players advance to the final showdown to face off for a cash prize. The 10-episode series will premiere in summer 2018.
The 95-year-old Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee has released a video slamming reports that he is a victim of elder abuse. “Hi, this is Stan Lee, and I’m calling on behalf of myself and my friend Keya Morgan. Now you people have been publishing the most hateful, harmful material about me and about my friend Keya and some others,” the 95-year-old Spider-Man creator said in a video released by TMZ on Wednesday night. This is the latest in a spate of bad news about Lee. A few weeks ago, Morgan reportedly found that one of Lee’s business associates stole vials of his blood and attempted to sell them, and in February, police launched an investigation into $1.4 million stolen from his home while he was in the hospital battling pneumonia.
