Travel & hotel sites are reporting record numbers of people searching for Wakanda, the fictional African nation featured in Marvel’s Black Panther. “The Wisconsin Wakanda Water Park” has reports of a 620% increase in online traffic, while 2 Illinois cities, Wauconda & Makanda have also see traffic increase 25 & 40% respectively.
Kit Harington tells GQ magazine that he will not be appearing in any of HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel.
Sarah Drew and Michelle Hurd have joined CBS’ reboot of the classic police procedural Cagney & Lacey. Hurd will play the athletic and polished LAPD detective Lacey, while Drew will take on her laid-back protégé. The original show ran on CBS for seven seasons, beginning in 1982.
New movies opening tonight (as seen above, per IMDB.com) include Tomb Raider, who DOES have a post-credits scene. Tomb Raider’s main storyline ends and cuts black, before revealing the title logo of “Tomb Raider.” However, before the end credits roll, we get a fun little bonus scene, which “fans of the film and the games alike will love.”
