It seems Nicolas Cage will finally get to play Superman after all. Cage has just been cast as Superman in Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, where he’ll join fellow new additions Halsey (Wonder Woman) and Lil Yachty (Green Lantern). Cage has been a longtime Superman fan and was even attached to star in the live-action Superman Lives project under Tim Burton. That ultimately never made it to the big screen, but he’ll finally have the chance to suit up in animation (via USA Today).
CNBC is bringing back Deal or No Deal with original host Howie Mandel. The reboot will feature the high-energy format with new twists. “Our primetime programs, with their focus on business and money, strive to be both entertaining and instructive. Shows like The Profit and Shark Tank are built around high stakes and high rewards. Those same elements live at the heart of Deal or No Deal, which is why we believe it to be a perfect fit,” said CNBC Chairman Mark Hoffman. “Today’s announcement confirms our deep commitment to primetime, strengthening our line-up, by adding one of the most successful game shows of all time along with the popular, original host, Howie Mandel.” Deal or No Deal will make a bow in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer “is probably the most ripe show we have for bringing back,” Fox Chairman Gary Newman said at Jerusalem’s INTV conference Tuesday. The ball’s in creator Joss Whedon’s court, he says. “When Joss decides it’s time, we’ll do it.”
It’s officially official: Rob Zombie has begun work on the third chapter starring the Firefly Trio. According to Zombie’s Instagram, it looks like the movie is just being called Three From Hell. We can also assume the “three” are Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), Otis (Bill Moseley), and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), but how will they have survived the closing scene of The Devil’s Rejects?
