Fox may reboot its 24 franchise, chairman Gary Newman says at an INTV conference in Jerusalem Monday. Newman also offers a glimpse into a potential storyline: “I think terrorism is uniquely suited for 24 because the timeliness and urgency is built in. You could be in the medical field or the legal field where a clock is ticking and something has to happen. But I wouldn’t bet against terrorism” as a theme. The reboot would likely not include Keifer Sutherland this time around, but Newman says if he’s willing to return, they’d be glad to have them.
