Rise Against has shared a video for the single “House on Fire” from the Chicago act’s latest album, Wolves.
The track is the second single to be released from the record. The clip centers on a relationship between a grandfather and his granddaughter. It begins with the girl as a child, follows her into her coming-of-age years and takes the course of their lives to a surprising conclusion.
“When you hear it you might hear a kind of classic love-and-loss-like love song . . . but the song actually is about becoming a parent. I like to think I have the world figured out, but once you throw a 13-year-old daughter your way you realize, I have nothing figured out. And this is an incredible challenge that’s at the same time worth it.” – Frontman Tim McIlrath
