Kate Beckinsale is joining the widespread Hollywood migration from large to small screens with The Widow. The eight-episode thriller for Amazon Studios hails from Harry and Jack Williams (The Missing, Fleabag). The story follows Georgia Wells (Beckinsale), a woman who has changed her life dramatically after a personal tragedy. But after seeing her “late” husband in the news, she begins on a quest to find out the truth about her past. Her journey involves a trip into the depths of the Congo.
Netflix confirms that it is making a sequel to the Will Smith-starring David Ayer-directed Bright. The first installation was the highest-viewed Netflix film ever for its first week, the streaming service declared, despite its critical drubbing.

Bruce Willis stars in the Eli Roth-directed revenge thriller Death Wish. The original starred Charles Bronson. Willis plays a Chicago surgeon whose wife and daughter are attacked, and follows him as he tracks the assailants down. The film also stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Dean Norris, Mike Epps, Elisabeth Shue and Camila Morrone. Death Wish opens March 2, 2018. Check out the latest trailer below:
