In a recent interview with The Metal Sucks Podcast, Tool’s drummer Danny Carey has stated that fans can expect a new album from the group in the new year.
Another interview from Loudwire, the musician echoed the same comments:
“Yes. I’m saying definitely. We’ll probably have it done in the first half [of the year] if things go as planned. There’s setup times and manufacturing – I can never predict all that, it seems like it’s constantly evolving. [What time of year it will be out] I can’t tell you.”
Now, we wait. Remember we have also been told that a new album was coming back in 2013.
However, we do know that the group will headline 2018’s Rock On The Range, perhaps around the time a new album is released?
