After a several year hiatus JET has returned with a collaboration single called ‘My Name Is Thunder.’
The Australian rockers teamed with Italian EDM group The Bloody Beetroots for the track which was released in two versions. The “Jet version’ showcases a more rock version and the ‘Bloody Beetroots’ version is more of a EDM, dance version.
Does this mean a full-on return is on the horizon for JET? No one knows.
The band broke-up in 2012 but reunited in 2016 to open for Bruce Springsteen in Australia. Since then they have sent fans mixed messages about what they’ve been up to. Frontman Nic Cester has recorded but not yet released his solo album.
JET’s first two albums were recently remastered and re-released with additional content.
