When you think of craft beer, you don’t tend to think of Walmart. But they want to change that with their own line of brews.
The 12-pack, which sells for $13, is called Trouble Brewing with different kinds of beer in it including Round Midnight Belgian White, Cat’s Away IPA, After Party Pale Ale, & Red Flag Amber.
So far, beer bloggers haven’t been too kind to the line with one calling it “carbonated beer flavor.”
Not realizing it until writing this post, I have actually tried this line without knowing it was a Walmart brand. Personally, none of the four beers really tasted that good nor resembled what they are supposed to be. The Pale Ale wasn’t what you expected from a Pale Ale and so on.
Cheap beer is cheap beer and if that’s what you like, nothing wrong with that. I love me PBR from time to time, but if you love craft beer you don’t want it on the cheap end.
Trouble Brewing is available in Walmart’s around the country.
