Come to the Washington Park Botanical Garden Exhibit Hall and view images of Washington Park dating as far back as 1902. The exhibit chronicles the changes and happenings of the park since its creation.

Auditions are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 27, Wednesday, Aug. 28, and Thursday, Aug. 29 from 4-9 p.m. at the Hoogland Center for the Arts. Those interested in auditioning are requested to prepare one piece, play scales, and sight read for panel for orchestra placement. The audition fee is $5.   8:00PM 10:30PM Theater in the Park- Our Town   OUR TOWN, written by American playwright Thornton Wilder, is a Pulitzer Prize winning play. It is a character story about an average town's citizens in the early twentieth century as depicted through their everyday lives. Using metatheatrical devices, Wilder sets the play in a 1930s theater. He uses the actions of the Stage Manager to create the town of Grover's Corners for the audience. Scenes from its history between the years of 1901 and 1913 play out. All performances: $13 Adult, $11 Seniors, $8 Children (under 12).
