Six of the world’s top Carillonneurs from The Netherlands and the United States will present concerts nightly (except Wednesday). The International Carillon Festival is one of the world’s most important and prestigious carillon events for the past 51 years. View the playing keyboard and Carillonneur during the performance on the large video screen at the base of the Carillon. Food vendor or bring a picnic. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy an evening in the park.
 
  7:00AM 5:30PM Summer Day Camp   The Springfield Park District is taking registrations for the Nelson Center Summer Day Camp. Camp begins June 3 and runs through August 17 (Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Kids ages 5 -12 can attend and participate in various outdoor activities including swimming, games and themed weeks. Swimming lessons are provided as well.   9:00AM 3:00PM Garden Walk   Join the Springfield Civic Garden Club for just $20, and pick up your map from 9-9:30 a.m. from the church to view local gardens. In lieu of their monthly meeting they will enjoy some area gardens.   11:30AM 7:30PM 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament   The 21st annual Macon Resources charity golf tournament will be Monday, June 3 at South Side Country Club, 1650 Cottage Drive in Decatur. The event will kick off at 11:30 a.m. with lunch, followed by tee off at 1 p.m., with dinner and prizes afterwards. The entry fee is $540 for a team of four. The entry fee includes lunch, dinner, a goody bag and golf fees.
