Little Flower Men's Club is having our 16th Annual Lenten Fish Fry Springfield's "Most talked about Fish Fry" Fridays: Feb. 15-March 22 _ Dine In, Drive Thru, Carry Out Serving from 5-7:30 p.m. Adult Meals - $7.50 Choice of Fish or Shrimp w baked potato or fries Kids Meals - $4.00 Choice Fish, shrimp, corn dog or grilled cheese both include fixins bar - cole slaw, onions condiments, seconds on fish and introducing week one a fish taco bar. Ice Cream $1 Soda $1 Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Mt. Dew Spirits $2 or (6 for $10) Bud Light, MIller Lite, Bud Select, Bud 55, Busch NA, White Zinfandel

1st Annual Easter HOP for kids with disabilities |

We are proud to announce the First Annual Easter Hop at Erin's Pavilion on Saturday, March 16th from 10am to noon. We are Partnering with Renken Dentistry, Noll Medical Pavilion, Noll Cafe and the Hope Institute to bring you Health on Purpose. It’s a fun morning of activities for children with disabilities and their siblings PLUS great resources fro parents at our information fair. Come join us...it's FREE
Activities include: pictures with the Easter Bunny, HOP Health Activity Course for the Children, Easter Egg Treats, Noll Cafe to serve Refreshments, Resource Information Fair.
Resource Fair Participants Include: Renken Dentistry, Noll Medical Pavilion, Noll Cafe, The Hope Institute, Dept of Public Health, Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society, U of I Chicago Division of Specialized Care for Children, Community Living Options, Springfield Park District, Special Olympics, United Cerebral Palsy (UCP)

The Springfield Park District will be offering after school lap swim hours beginning March 1 at Eisenhower Pool (2351 E. Cornell St.).

Monday - Friday 7 – 9 a.m., 11 a.m. – 1 p.m./ Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m./ Monday and Wednesday 8:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. / Sunday 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Family Swim Hours: Friday 7 – 9 p.m./ Sunday 2 – 4 p.m.

Poetry Out Loud - State Contest |

Springfield Area Arts Council presents Poetry Out Loud Regional Contest. This event is free and open to the public.
The Poetry Out Loud program provides an easy way to highlight the fine arts in your school, and it gives your literary and performing art students the opportunity to use their talents in a competitive environment. Last year, 5943 students from 57 Illinois schools participated.
