The Good, The Bad & The Nerdy 11/30: Gremlins Returns to Theaters, Seinfeld Ended Wolverine

The Good, The Bad & The Nerdy for November 30, 2017

The hit horror-comedy classic, 1984’2 Gremlins will be returning to theaters this December for limited engagements. The nationwide event won’t just include a screening of the movie, but will also include an exclusive conversation with the film’s director, Joe Dante, a preview of Mondo’s new Gremlins Collection and also be honored with a t-shirt specifically designed for the event. (Get your tickets here.)

Recently, Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman, revealed that it was comedian Jerry Seinfeld who convinced him to end his run as the popular mutant, mentioning it’s always better to go out on top. With how successful Logan was, Hugh probably made the right call.

How many times have you watched the new Avengers: Infinity War trailer? How about adding one more viewing to your total?

Amazon Prime members are getting an early rollout of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. The Sony reboot of the 1995 classic will screen for Prime customers at 7 pm on December 8th, 12 days before the Dwayne Johnson vehicle swings into theaters on December 20th. Members can buy up to 10 tickets each for a one-time showing at more than 1,000 theaters across the U.S.

Finally for today, Nightmare on Elm Street legend Robert Englund is back with a new horror movie that, to me, feels like a mix of The Ring.. and Jumanji. Maybe it’s just me. Check out the trailer for The Midnight Man:
